ThoughtForm is recognizing MLK Day
To give our team time to reflect on Black culture and the issues facing Black Americans, ThoughtForm has set Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day as an additional holiday on our annual calendar. It is our hope that this time for reflection will lead to position action for change.
The holiday was signed into law by Ronald Reagan in 1983, after 15 years of pushing by labor unions. According to a 2019 statistic, only 45% of employers recognize Martin Luther King Jr. Day as a holiday.
